President Biden’s decision to end his campaign was as pure an act of patriotism as I have seen in my lifetime. The next 15 weeks will be like nothing this country has ever experienced politically, but have no doubt: This is a race Democrats can and must win. As one who shared that dream and has had to make peace with letting it go, I know this wasn’t easy. That’s why I am excited about Vice President Kamala Harris. On the other is a savvy former prosecutor and successful vice president who embodies our faith that America’s best days are still ahead.
